Derby Done!

I know some of you were concerned that we he might not get our his Derby car done.

Proof it is finished:

and done in time!

Of course, like any competition it ended in tears for our child. It was double elimination in the early rounds. Then it went to single elimination. We He made it to the single elimination rounds. Was eliminated when he only lost 1 race - everyone else got to lose 2 before they were out! Ohhhh the tears! To which I told him he was in the top 10, and that he should be proud of himself!

So then I had to stop the "Hey, mine's in the top 10!"

Growing up is so hard!

Next year we, the girls, are making a power pink car!
