Tonight my son got to experience "getting into a book!"
On Monday he was assigned his first chapter book to read. He was to read one chapter each night. Being the normal student he is, he saved it until 7:30 to start!
He didn't get a whole chapter read on the first night. But tonight he finished! And he was so into it - the girl having to give away her pet and then it came back - that he had tears running down his checks.
It was so sweet.
