In case you're not sure... here's what a Lyme's bullseye looks like. We showed it to the med student - tried to treat her like a Dr., but knew that we would have to tell it to the resident also and perhaps the resident's faculty person! Apparently it is a clinical diagnosis - the physician looks at all of the evidence and makes the diagnosis. We all decided to go ahead with the treatment - amoxicillin. In 12 hours it was bigger; in 24 hours it was gone! And you never build up memory cells - aka immunity - to Lyme's.
