I need to get my kids some meals! They are eating too many snacks this summer. I think it might just be a full time job to make sure they are fed! And to imagine that in 1900 there was time to also make the BREAD! I picked up a couple of magazines - including 1 for recipes with 5 ingredients (though it had several with more than 5. Guess they are not yet through Kindergarten math!) and one for fun foods! Got a great cake idea from the fun foods. Looks like it might be a Candy Land cake for Berry Princess this year! (Nope - not going to share the link!)
Last week we biked 4 of the 5 days of the week to our the kids' morning activities. Looks like rain Monday through Thursday. I'm hoping they will even have swimming and baseball practices!
Monday:
B: Sausage, egg and cheese sandwich
L: Spank Pizza - mine will have fresh basil and moz cheese!
D: Shrimp kabobs with something starchy and some veggies.
Tuesday:
B ??
L at daycare and kids' co - bagged lunch for the son.
D: Seafood lasagne (without husband and with Connie?)
Wednesday:
B sausage, egg and cheese sandwich
L at Mrs. T's for the 1st grade reunion! (Though it has since become their midterm reunion as she'll also be EB's 2nd grade teacher, but that is a post for another day! Though maybe not. I like my job.)
D Bratwurst casserole - with chicken sausage
Thursday:
B: not really sure what to do about these days when we need to get to baseball by 8 am....Can the kids eat and then have 2 hours of activities immediately after?
L: Lunch on a stick
D: ???? leftover buffet? EB has baseball game at 5pm.
Friday:
B: breakfast sandwiches
L: Water day at church - wonder if there's food or if it is a potluck!? Guess I'll have to check on that!
D: More leftovers? We'll need to eat and then get going for Star of the North games in St. Cloud on Sat.
Glad we're not staying here! We did once - and it was pretty fun! But that was about 5 years ago!
And we'll have to see what exciting quotes this week brings!

Sounds like you're having quite an adventure as a stay-at-home-mom this summer.
