Games we played this weekend

Early Bird:
He played games all morning on Friday - it was a good thing there were several adults around to share in the playing. He played Flippin' frogs with Dad, Mom and 'Della. He played Oh chutes with Mom and 'Della. He played Chutes and Ladders with his sister and I for a while. She's not so good with the counting - 1,2,3 every time.
He took a nap.
Then he was right back at it - we were tired of it - He tried to teach his sister again - she still wasn't really good at counting. Mom played with him a while until some company came. Then he played as both himself and Mom. Amazingly he won that game!

Hubby:
He lived without his XBox for the whole weekend. We even had an adult game night (about 2 hours). We played dominoes with 2 sets of incomplete dominoes. We played triominoes. We thought about chicken feet and Mexican train, but didn't play them - we need to learn these.

Me:
I found a new feature on my cell phone while RIDING home today. Reversi is a version of othello - which I had never played before. The directions on the phone were terrible for someone who had never played. On the way down the Nodine hill I finally beat the cell phone!

Berry Princess:
She got a pink pig for her birthday present from Brian and Heidi. A perfect game for a 2yo - she plays by herself and puts the colors together and into a slot in the back of the pig. Leave it to the math teacher to think she needs to learn to count! Oh, maybe then she'll be better at Chutes and Ladders! Guess it all comes around!
