We were awarded with the honor sitting in church pews for 6 hours this weekend, and boy, is my but'm tired! It really is. For Valentine's weekend we went to a video marriage counseling retreat. It was Friday night and Saturday morning, plus 45 min. It was another round of Laugh Your Way to a Happy Marriage. Mark Gungor is HILARIOUS!!! It was delightful! We loved it!!!There was a couple hosting the event. They were trying to give away prizes. They tried to give a video to the couple that was engaged - no takers. They turned to the couple who had an anniversary this weekend - no takers. How about the couple who had an anniversary in February - still no takers. They went to the couple who had married for 50+ years! I wonder if they are going to watch it.
The next prize went to the guy who had been ice fishing most recently. . . this month. . . . this winter. . . ever. . . no one! So he handed it to the good-lookin' guy sitting beside me!
They couldn't come up with someone to give the girl prize to. . . . One lady suggested that they give the girl prize to the person who farted because they laughed so hard. Then got up to go get the prize! I no longer wonder why they call them pews.
