This summer we decided to read "big" books to Early Bird. We decided on Akiko by Mark Crilley. There are 9 books in the series. As of tonight we've read all of the Akiko books that the library has in stock. At least Early Bird has heard all of it. We took turns reading, so we have to make up for what we missed! I think I get the gist of each story - Just don't give me a test.
Mark Crilley does a great job; I highly recommend the reading. A great way to get in the minutes for kindergarten homework - a huge vocab builder! It is about a girl who is a 4th and 5th grader. Would Dominic like it? Fun and Fantasy.
Now that I know there's one more book, we'll have to see if the library can get it.
