Conversation in the car on Friday:

EB: I can't wait until it is spring, so I can ride my bike!
Me: Whoa that is a long time away! Do you know when spring is?
EB: When?
Me: Spring comes after winter.
EB: OHHHH! That will be good! (said with much joy and excitement!!)
Me: Why are you so happy?
EB: Because Barack Obama will be President! And he said he was going to make things better!

Sorry Dad - The boy just can't get enough Obama!

He has just clear optimism about how Barack Obama. He is his hero. I guess I can't really complain. Some kids idolize athletes or pop culture; my kid likes the President of the US.
